MY OUTLINE

Helpful statement/question: Garzón (1997) affirmed that Colombian education starts from the premise ‘Studying to get a good job’. Colombian government has been promoting ‘The Education for Work’ since 2010, training people in work practice by developing technical expertise and skills as well as training for artisanal, artistic, recreational and occupational performance. What is your opinion about it?

1. First paragraph: 
  • Introduction: Thesis statement: The education for work is a latent threat against the fulfillment people's dreams.
2. Second paragraph: 
  • First argument:  People study technological and technical careers instead of university careers because it allows them to get a job faster and more easily.
3. Third paragraph:
  • Second argument: To study something they like is not a good option because it does not make earn money.
4. Fourth paragraph:

  • Third argument: The education for work is an easy way to keep the people oppressed.
5. Fifth paragraph:
  • Conclusion: The education should have another view with the aim of educating people to live well and happy instead of living for work or survive.
