Con nuestro amigo Tal Cual hablando sobre Propiedad intelectual

I chose this video because it is remarkable to know some aspects of the intellectual property. The Tal Cual's character tells us the importance of avoiding to post things that are not our authorship because it could bring us many problems. It's even a crime so we must be more careful with "copy and paste" without the author's consent. This crime is known as plagiarism.
We can see this in the streets constantly when people buy some CDs really cheap but they are not originals; they are copies.

In our academic context is very common to take an excerpt from web pages or books, but we don't cite where they are from. Plagiarism is cheating So, this is a crime and we aren't aware of this. Some people have been punished for this in the colleges and workplaces. Sometimes, they do this unwillingly. For this reason is important to know the laws. For instance, we have the law 1032 of 2006 which expresses what are the punishments or implications of the plagiarism.
Be careful with the citation and the information. If that information exists, it has a place where they were born, for example, someones' mind, institutional knowledge, etc.

TENTH TASK: Intercultural communication.

The world is full of countries and these are enriched with many cultures and socities that have an own life and, of course, many customs. These customs make us different between each other. And the differences frequently create misunderstandings.  We tend to judge people without serious criterion. We talk to talk. So, in this opportunity, I want to expose a reflection about this false assumptions that we make about others.
American culture is judged by opinion instead of facts. They are well known for their punctuality, so we suppose that they are gridded people but we do not take the time to know them deeply. I have had the chance of sharing some experiences with Language Assistants who have been excellent people, very appreciative that deserve all good from us. They have taught me some customs, celebrations and traits about their culture. This has encouraged me to visit USA someday. When we interact with others, we can change our standpoints of the world.

Another misconception that could be taken in account is what people think about colombian people. It is assumed, in many parts of the world, that colombian people are dishonest and crafty, but we know indeed that we are special, humble, hardworking, and sensitive people. This kind of thoughts has destroyed our image in other countries. Generalization is always a mistake. Not all human beings are the way we think. Each person has a different story, amd this story takes place and time somewhere. We have to be aware of this. We should bear in mind these lifetimes can help us to build another view of the cultures and their societies. Therefore, the main suggestion is AVOID BIAS.

When we avoid bias, we are free to communicate and interact with others without obstacles because we do not have anything in our mind that can spoil the new relationships.

So, let's avoid bias and live paceful with others.

Today say YES to know others and invite them to build your life.

MY OUTLINE

Helpful statement/question: Garzón (1997) affirmed that Colombian education starts from the premise ‘Studying to get a good job’. Colombian government has been promoting ‘The Education for Work’ since 2010, training people in work practice by developing technical expertise and skills as well as training for artisanal, artistic, recreational and occupational performance. What is your opinion about it?

(One of Claudia's questions)

1. First paragraph:

2. Second paragraph:

3. Third paragraph:
  • Second argument: To study something they like is not a good option because it does not make earn money.
4. Fourth paragraph:

  • Third argument: The education for work is an easy way to keep the people oppressed.
5. Fifth paragraph:
